Mercedes-Benz To Follow Guidelines, Procedures If Recall Is Required
Last update: 06/03/2017

KUALA LUMPUR, March 6 (Bernama) -- Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, aware of the recent recall announcement by Daimler AG, has assured customers that stringent global guidelines and procedures would be followed if a recall was required.

Daimler AG determined 'hydrolocked engine' condition, where certain vehicles damaged from flooding or being submerged in water, may experience overload under certain conditions during starting procedure.

In a statement today, Mercedes-Benz said, very high electric current might lead to overheating of the starting current limiter.

The company, awaiting further information from Daimler AG, will update its customers immediately upon receiving the details, it said.

For further queries, customers can call 1-800-88-113.

You should only use the hazard lights to warn
traffic that you've had to stop in some sort of emergency. Turning on the hazard lights and still driving on is dangerous. If more and more
motorists use their hazard lights when they
are still moving, those who use them when they actually stall would be in danger of being
knocked into by traffic behind them
